Why Choose Us?
We believe that learning art should feel inspiring, accessible, and genuinely supportive—never confusing or full of hidden costs. That’s why we do things a little differently.
Why Choose Us?
We believe that learning art should feel inspiring, accessible, and genuinely supportive—never confusing or full of hidden costs. That’s why we do things a little differently.
Everything you need is included.
From quality papers and sketchbooks to pencils, brushes and paints, all materials are included—no hidden extras. Unlike some classes that say “all included” then add charges, we mean it. Every session also comes with tea, coffee and biscuits, because creativity flows best when you’re comfortable.
Flexible scheduling that fits your life.
We run the same class five times each week, including an evening option. If you can’t make your usual slot, just let us know—we’ll happily move you to another session that week so you never miss out.
Catch up anytime with recorded demos.
Life happens. If you miss a class, you’ll still have access to a video of the tutor demonstration, so you can stay on track and continue learning at your own pace.
Expert tutors who know how to teach.
Our tutors aren’t just talented artists—they’re educators with extensive teaching experience and art degrees. You’ll get thoughtful, structured guidance from people who know how to support your creative growth, whether you’re a complete beginner or returning after a break.

"I’m Sue, the course coordinator and behind-the-scenes organiser dedicated to making learning feel seamless and welcoming. I help plan engaging art curricula, manage materials and bookings and ensure tutors have everything they need to deliver engaging and well-planned lessons. Whether I’m refining lesson plans, troubleshooting tech or setting the tone for a creative session, my focus is always on the students: creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels supported from the moment they arrive."
“Art has always been my way of making sense of the world, and my work in curriculum planning lets me support others in finding that same connection. I love shaping learning experiences that welcome curiosity, value mistakes, and make every student feel included. Even though I’m no longer in the classroom, helping to design programmes that build confidence and spark creativity remains one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.”

“Art has been my whole life — which probably explains the paint on my shoes and the sketchbook in my shopping bag. Teaching is my way of passing on the passion. I don’t expect perfection, just a willingness to try and an openness to learning when things go sideways. My sessions are practical, relaxed, and occasionally interrupted by the sound of someone discovering that acrylic paint does, in fact, get everywhere. If you’re curious, you’re ready!”
“I graduated from the Falmouth School of Art with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art Painting, and I’ve spent over 26 years in mental health education as a Thrive Practitioner. I’ve also taught art at GCSE, A level, and within FE colleges, which has strengthened my belief in how powerfully creativity supports wellbeing and self‑expression. My own work is inspired by music, colour, and the natural world, exploring rhythm and atmosphere through both observation and intuitive mark‑making. Creativity, for me, is a way of connecting with others, and that belief shapes my teaching - supportive, expressive, and grounded in helping people find resilience and balance.”
